Guanajuato, Mexico

Well, I finally made it to Mexico! I am Guanajuato, Guanajuato , Mexico.

Where?!

Guanajuato is located approximately 6 hours east of Puerta Vallarta, and about 3 hours north of Mexico City. Guanajuato (GTO) is the capital of the state Guanajuato.

Why GTO?

My friend, Keith, put me in touch with a friend of his, Bob, who has been living in GTO for many years. He recommended I visit, and the timing worked out where he was going to be traveling himself, so he rented me his apartment while he was gone. He even had an expat friend of his, also named Bob, pick me up from the airport, show me around, and take me to my apartment! Hence, a big shout out to Keith and both Bobs for the smooth transition!

Here is where Guanajuato is located in Mexico. No surfing for now. Land-locked!
